New HGV stop station to open near Calais
It has been made official that a new HGV stop station is to be opened near Calais, and this new site, which will make life a lot easier for LGV and HGV drivers, will feature 300 parking spaces, alongside lots of other comforts, all made accessible for those who drive during the day, and want a good overnight sleep before starting their journey the next morning.
The new HGV stop, apparently located in the Transmarck area, and thus run by All4Trucks, is due to open during the third week of January. Furthermore, the site will also feature a restaurant, as well as a bar, including various vending machines, shops, and even wash facilities. Apart from all that, this new HGV stop station will offer telephone, internet and fax services. Moreover, video cameras, alongside a team of security guards, will provide constant surveillance, so as to make the guests, HGV and LGV drivers, feel safe and secure, in addition to all the comforts provided by the site.
This new HGV stop in Calais will also offer diesel, as well as AdBlue. Hence, most of the major international fuel cards will be accepted directly at the pump, so as to make it all easier for those staying at the site. Therefore, Ton Barton, All4Trucks Chief Executive, says that the site, i.e. the new HGV stop, is in fact the ideal stop station in every HGV driver’s route across the English Channel, offering the utmost comfort, just like the one at home, and all by providing excellent services for all HGV driver’s needs. Thus, he adds:
