The current economic climate has led to mass lay-offs in almost all the sectors of the economy.
This has propelled individuals to look for new business opportunities. After all earning on a constant basis is better than being unemployed. Some of the new job avenues include LGV driving. This is indeed an attractive opportunity and there is demand for new LGV drivers.

There are numerous job vacancies in the LGV sector. The number of interested candidates has also increased post-recession. The demand for LGV drivers has increased tremendously in the UK. However, currently there is a shortage in the total number of available drivers. This has resulted into enormous losses for the huge conglomerates.

The lack of enough drivers prevents the companies from meeting deadlines on a regular basis. Consignments and other goods are also not delivered on time. This is a further blow to all the companies who are already facing the wrath of recession.

Considering the above scenario, it is not much of a surprise that, the salary has been increased in order to attract potential LGV drivers. Thus, LGV driving is indeed an attractive opportunity.

However, companies are not compromising on the quality of driving. A LGV driving licence is one of the few essentials required to join any company as a LGV driver.
It is also recommended that the driver should have passed a LGV training course from a reputable institute. After all, quality of service is the most essential criteria for a successful business.
